HS Begins: Sunday, September 10




& To attain a strong sense of identity with our heritage and to develop a love and pride in being Jewish

& To gain knowledge and understanding of the mitzvot, traditions, and practices of Judaism; to study the morals, values, and ethical behaviors mandated by the Torah

& To discover and to explore the incredible history of the Jewish people and its relevance for all times; thereby, to develop an appreciation and excitement towards Jewish Holidays

& To master the skills of Hebrew reading and writing, emphasizing prayers so that the students will feel comfortable when attending services, and preparing for his or her Bar/Bat Mitzvah

& To identify with the Land of Israel as our own land, and to develop an interest in issues relating to Israel and its people

& To allow students to express their opinions and questions about G‑d, Torah, and religion in a non-judgmental setting, and to have them understand the importance and relevance of Torah in today’s day and age

& To attain a “Jewish” perspective on life and to maintain a Jewish connection and involvement beyond the years at Hebrew school, and to ultimately convey this to future generations.
