THE GOALS OF OUR PROGRAM

To attain a strong sense of identity with our heritage and to develop
a love and pride in being Jewish

To gain knowledge and understanding of the mitzvot, traditions,
and practices of Judaism; to study the morals, values, and ethical behaviors mandated by the Torah

To discover and to explore the incredible history of the Jewish people
and its relevance for all times; thereby, to develop an appreciation and excitement towards Jewish Holidays

To master the skills of Hebrew reading and writing, emphasizing prayers so that the students will feel comfortable when attending services, and preparing for his or her Bar/Bat Mitzvah

To identify with the Land of Israel as our own land, and to develop
an interest in issues relating to Israel and its people

To allow students to express their opinions and questions about G‑d, Torah,
and religion in a non-judgmental setting, and to have them understand the importance and relevance of Torah in today’s day and age

To attain a “Jewish” perspective on life and to maintain a Jewish
connection and involvement beyond the years at Hebrew school, and to ultimately convey this to future generations.
