Dear Friends & Family, We are very excited to join with the community in the building of a beautiful playground for children at the Chabad - Jewish Community Center in memory of our beloved child, Jai. For those of you who may not have had the good fortune to know Jai, those of us who did, knew Jai was a kid magnet. Kids loved Jai! During Jai’s time helping out at Chabad over the years, children, especially the littlest ones, were drawn to Jai’s gentle, quiet, and attentive demeanor. Jai had plans to study for a career in early childhood education and would have been perfect for this work. Chabad of Bakersfield has offered us the opportunity to create a safe space where children can play and be themselves which is just what Jai would have wanted. Please join us in honoring Jai’s memory in this way and bringing happiness and joy to small children for generations to come.
